War of Alliances – Version 2.11.4 Release Notes
Greetings, Commanders!
We are excited to announce the release of Version 2.11.4 in the War of Alliances universe. This update brings a host of changes aimed at refining game balance, improving progression, and enhancing your overall experience. Read on for all the details!
1. Save the Fleet (with Restrictions) Returns- The beloved “Save the Fleet” mission is back with new limitations.
- Only 1 mission can be active at any time.
- Maximum shelter duration: 36 hours.
- Secure your fleet wisely and take advantage of this time-limited mission.
- Upgrading an Anomaly now costs 20 Dark matter.
- All blueprints and most parts have been removed from the game.
- Each sector (Barbarians, Pirates, Devastators) contains only 1 type of part that can be found, but the chance to find it has increased.
- All existing parts and blueprints have been converted to the new system based on updated discovery rates.
- The Senator Engineer’s bonus has been changed from a blueprint-finding bonus to a parts-finding bonus.
- The maximum arsenal level for units/structures has increased from 30 to 40, offering deeper progression and more powerful strategies.
- Pirate arsenals: The reduction in arsenal success chance per level has been adjusted from 1% to 0.75%.
- Ravager arsenals: The reduction in arsenal success chance per level has been adjusted from 1.25% to 1%.
- Enjoy a slightly better success rate when upgrading these factions.
- Shields are now exclusively found in Monthly Containers.
- Each Container stage grants 2 shields, for a maximum of 6 shields per month.
- Fleet Points are now shared among all participants in a Alliance Combat System (ACS).
- Example: If 3 players are in a ACS, the maximum combined Fleet Point limit is 150% (100% + 25% + 25%).
- The player who initiates the ACS can send any amount of Fleet Points.
- Other ACS participants can only compensate for any shortfall but cannot exceed the base 100% of the target player's limit.
- This encourages collaborative tactics and balanced fleet planning.
- Due to the reduced number of available parts, the achievement requirement for finding parts has increased 100-fold to maintain its prestige and challenge level.
- Automatic fleet repair time has been doubled, so plan your engagements carefully.
- The time limit to teleport or purchase additional fleet/defenses before an attack on your planet is now 1 minute (reduced from the previous limit).
- Quick reactions are essential—fortify swiftly!
- Canceling a building now refunds only 50% of the invested resources (increased from 5%).
- Make sure you’re certain before committing resources to construction projects.
- If a player’s Strength Coefficient is 0.33 or lower, War Points will not be awarded.
- This change is intended to maintain fair competition and discourage exploitative mismatches.
-
Streamlined Progression
By removing most blueprints and consolidating parts, we’ve made progression simpler yet more rewarding. The increased drop rates keep the thrill of discovery alive while reducing inventory clutter. -
Longer-Term Planning
Raising the arsenal cap to Level 40 and doubling fleet repair times encourage strategic pacing. You’ll need to decide whether to push rapid expansions or consolidate your current assets. -
Balancing & Fair Play
War Points adjustments and new Strength Coefficient rules aim to keep battles competitive. We want to ensure lower-level players aren’t unfairly targeted while also rewarding fair fights. -
More Team-Oriented Battles
The new Fleet Points distribution system heavily incentivizes cooperative strategies. Working closely with allies can give you a significant advantage in major conflicts.
